The official name is: Oxwich Bay (Bae Oxwich), Gower
On 1 February 2007, the 'Travel Magazine' named Oxwich beach the most beautiful in Britain.
Very nice photo L+F
congratulations and greetings
You may get a suggestion (through Panoramio) from me pedantically repositioning the photo and renaming the bay. Um. Apologies. I mistakenly thought that the photo was actually a label for the bay in Google Earth and not simply a witty caption. Dimwit that I am, I didn't realise that I had the Panoramio option on, and being zoomed out quite a way, your photo was the only one visible hence being an infrequent Google Earth user I got confused. Ignore me - I'm an idiot. I'll get me coat.
Never mind, no worries! I visited this area as a hiker, I dont know the real name of this wonderful bay. Gowergold, do you come from Wales? Maybe, I can add the proper name of the bay in the caption.
:) I love the title, Alopex, besides, 'Three cows Bay' goes perfectly well with the official name 'Oxwich Bay'.
Gowergold, this part of Wales (Gower) seems to be great, I missed it, when I was in Wales last time, I hope to see it sometimes in the future.
Best wishes to you both,
Fav.13 und Like39 für diese bezaubernde Aufnahme mit herrlichen Farben und schöner Bildgestaltung. Viele Grüsse, Eckart und Annemarie
