When I was a kid, the replica was at the location of the original, about half way around the pond. Sadly, they've moved up to be next to the parking lots, so it doesn't have the same feeling. But it makes sense for easier access, and for security.
hi. i am an academic researcher living in wellington new zealand. i would like to ask your permission to use this image in a journal article i am currently writing. if this is possible, it would also be quite handy if you would be able to email me a large res copy of it and how you would like the credit line to be written.
I am reaching a deadline soon so if you could reply asap it would be appreciated.
Hi Julianna - thanks for your interest in my little shot here! Since Panoramio doesn't have an e-mail contact system, the next best thing would be for you to click on the 'Misplaced photo? Suggest new location' link just below the map to the right. Don't move the pin, but leave a message with your e-mail in the 'Explain your suggestion' box.
If your research is on Thoreau, and if you haven't seen the shots, this link is one of his grave marker, and this one is the Thoreau family stone.
thanks for the idea, have done, await your reply.
This could be inside Guy's house.
