Statue in honor of the riders who crossed on the Chisolm Trail recently placed. A You tube film of the celebration which included a herd of longhorns crossing the bridge.

Um, nice photo, but it is not the Chisholm Trail, I don't care what the sign might say. Modern scholarship tends to agree that while Texas had a number of cattle drive trails, the Chisholm Trail only started near Vernon, right before it crossed the Red River.
