I am not expecting a reply but I gotta tell you Keith that this is MAGIC!
Have a good un
Ditto! It would make a gorgeous painting, such glorios colour combination, and nice balance, plus a fine sense of depth. I love it! Theolfa
Thanks Jethro and Theolfa. This photo was taken a while ago and I don't know why I didn't upload it at the same time as I uploaded the digital images. I did have to do a little dodging and burning and I was happy that the detail was all there to recover - thanks to film, of course.
ps: Jethro, I am still replying to comments on my photos, as I think there is little chance of the contest spammers clicking on your name and then having to choose a photo to leave their spam on - too time consuming for their purposes.
Great image Keith, the colour is great and does have a warmer feel than the digital. Like from me.
Thanks Pete. I think I was lucky with the light and shadows that day.
A golden view Keith. The colours of the hill remind me of honey. I love the little houses looking somewhat insignificant, and the blue of what could be Ulswater from the GE map.
Britain at its best :)
Thanks Amelia. It was a good place to be and I am glad I was able to share it.
So many glorious colors on the earth and such soft delicate colors in the sky! Like! And such a catchy name for a town:)
Thanks again JF. I don't know if you have visited the area, but on days like this you could point the camera in any direction and be pleased with the result.
super landscape Keith, the shadows are fantastic, liked, best wishes, Fai
It was a great day with interesting sun and cloud, Fai, and the scenery did the rest of it. Thanks for your kind words.
Great color...the yellow sets the mood. Did you blur this picture or is it straight up?
Other than "automatic colour correction", it is an untouched photo taken on cheap consumer film, zanographix. Thanks for your comment.
Interesting place and colors, well framed! LIKE. Friendly greetings, Petr
