Great picture, David! I've never seen a boat like this one, although I've seen many tugboats. It should be viewe enlarged to really examine it. Cheers! Theolfa
Hello Theolfa. Nice to hear from you once again. I am pleased you enjoyed this of of the tug boat and yes if its enlarged everything can be seen so much more clearer too. We have two tug boats in Albany. I have been a bit busy lately with exersizes and preparing for surgery in about weeks time, plus I have been busy with a new series I will start soon. Fortunately, I have been aloud to come onsite to a big project happening close by, so I am making the best of it!!.
I will try and get to your gallery soon, well everyone really!!! :-) Get bit tied at night time.
Its hot here again today. I usually park under a shaddy tree during the day when I can.
Kind REgards, David
Hey nice pic David, do you make the trip in to Albany regularly??, it seems you are here ready with your camera all the time.. :)
Hello GasGas. Thankyou very much for your comments. I come down there maybe once a week. And I never go anywhere, without a camera these days. You never know what you might see!!! Its never the same if you have to come back to get the photo, as usually the light has changed etc. Since they have changed everything on the foreshore now, its easyer to get shots of this tugs as they go out to get ships etc.
Kind Regards, David
Nice and sharp picture of this Tug David. Greetings Berend
Dusan I think looking at boats of all sizes is pleasing to the eye. :-) I am pleased you have this opportunity to see this one in my gallery. Thanks for your like.
Berend many thanks dear friend for your compliments. This whole area where I took this from has changed now Berend. You would hardly recognize now. I will try and show what it looks like in the coming months from time to time. Yes, it did turn out well this shot and sharp as you say. I took a number of shots of this tug coming out of its boat pen and going out to sea to pick up an incoming garin ship. Not too many coming in this year, because it never rained very much so therefore, terrible crops and in many places, none at all Berend. Hopefully better this year for the farmers.
Kind REgards, David
Here it's raining again David and temperature is about 6C! I hope you will get enough rain so the farmers can stay and do their farming. I heard and read about the farmers in the late 1800's in the Flinders Range and Wilpena pound area who had to stop because it hadn't rained for some years. You find the ruins of the old farmers houses. Greetings Berend
Hi, David! A beautiful photo. Like. I like such ships. In Russian them name "Tow". They help the big ships to enter or heave out of the harbor.
The best regards, Igor
That's good! I vote! Victor 60
