Tanindrazana cycle I - "Reniala", the mother of forest

"Reniala", the mother of forest

Tanindrazana means in Malagasy "the land of ancestors". The word hides in itself a deep respect and special feelings, that the people of Madagascar has for its island and predecessors. This mini-cycle is a reminiscence of the time I have spent on Madagascar in 2009 and a humble "thanks" to all of my friends there.

Misaotra betsaka

This picture is dedicated specially to my friend indri, for permitting me to follow her numerous exquisite travels around Madagascar through her Panoramio gallery and for all her travel stories
