These three Angel images are very beautiful and intriguing art, Jim in Ireland. I think I like this one best, though #1 captivates me as well. Is it an owl angel? Lovely motion capture and colors. This would grace any wall - happy hugs (O:
Pretty wild, Jim, getting some use out of your new-fangled digital X-ray camera I see.
Suzi in Oregon - Thanks very much Suzi for your praiseworthy comments. You are close with your guess. They are actually images of Blue Tits in flight, taken in poor low light, hence a long exposure and the happy accident of the movement and blurring. Best regards - Jim
someGuyinmasset - I thought these unusual images might cause a mild sensation Guy; part of my little effort to shake Panoramio up a little! You do a good job of that as well yourself Guy! I see what you mean about the X-ray effect, created by my special "etheric" camera! Cheers - Jim
I'd guessed an owl as I'd assumed it was taken at night (especially after noting your moon pics), dear Jim - then after I wrote comment, I viewed the EXIF - nope, wrong again, says I! Am adding this one to my favorites with a Y* - a really excellent capture - gets better with each viewing (O:
wow so strange picture Beamish, but I LIKE it!! Very original and special... Best regards from Spain, diego
I must say, Jim, the loooong wait between uploads has been worth it. This is terrific! I mean absolutely brilliant!
Might I be so bold to ask how you did this?
Suzi in Oregon - Thanks again Suzi. It seems appropriate that you were the first to comment on this "Artistic" photo as I call such images, since you are a master yourself of Artistic images! Grateful for the Y* - Jim
diego_cue - Thanks very much Diego for your kind comments.
Ṩigh - Hi Si. I wish I could say that I deserve all your great praise! I've already partly explained this "happy accident" above to Suzi. But you can see a longer explanation I've given to Jethro in "Angel - 1" It's a small fragment of the original photo which has been enhanced and darkened to bring out more detail using our iPhoto software (a poorman's Photoshop!). Nothing else has been added or taken away; our software can't do that, apart from minor "retouching". Cheers - Jim
It's a superb result Jim..There is much to be learned from such an unplanned event... Intriguing to say the least!!
I've just checked the focal lenghth..it is even more surprising!! jim
Hi Jim. As I've said elsewhere, I think it would be very difficult to replicate the "happy accident" that created these original images! Best wishes - beamish Jim
Happy St Patrick's Day!
I found it now.L+V.Stathis
Sorry if you found it difficult to find my "Angel" Stathis, but Angels can be quite elusive! Thanks for the L+V. Best wishes - Beamish
Next photo, please!
I arrived at your picture.
Interesting photo. Very nice framing!
So, Voted! and normal L.
Greetings from Bucharest, Romania!
And now ...
Next photo, please!!
(I apply the new voting system!)
Glad you dropped by CGabi if only by accident! Thanks for the like + vote, though how you voted I'm not sure, since I don't seem to be able to vote for anyone at the moment! Best wishes - Beamish
P.S. I've just discovered the new voting system you mentioned. Quite an improvement which may also make it fairer and prevent people spamming to vote for their photos!
I'll vote if it comes up (and it's the best of the ten ;)
A good story and a very happy result Like ...Haggs...
Glad you liked the story behind these "Angels" Haggs. Thanks for the Like. Best wishes - Jim
