I like the way the path bends around the hill and wanders on.
Have you thought of shooting a stereo image like this one for HDR? It might give you some interesting results.
Thanks for commenting on these stereo pictures, Chip. I did try one HDR stereo that trip, but it didn't turn out - only two of all the HDR did turn out, actually. I will try it again, it sure would be interesting.
To honest, I'm having the same kind of luck with HDR stereo, and haven't figured out why. I was hoping someone else was doing it well enough to help me out. I guess we'll have to wait until Vasco gets a new camera, I'm sure he'll come up with something.
Here's a stereo HDR shot that I did a couple days ago. I wasn't satisfied with it and didn't post it. Tonight, I recreated the tone-mapped HDRs and realigned and cropped the pair again in SPM. It's a little better, but still not quite right.
