A very impressive mountain pyramid! With 8.167 metres it is much higher then I will ever be in my live (excluded airplane travels).

Yes Herr Sonstiges, Dhaulagiri is a very beautiful and impressive mountain when you look at it from far away (like here in Muktinath or from Poon Hill, Ghorepani). From a closer distance (e.g. Lete) the sight is heavily foreshortened and it looks (deceptively) just like any other hill.

Thanks again beamish boy! Dhaulagiri certainly is an impressive piece of rock. I think it's the most beautiful of the highest mountains of the world along with K2.
