There is something special about this picture. The world (graphically speaking) inside the globe brings a window view of another world. Really well done. Thank you.

Excelent point of focus. I do not see the photographer or the camera in the reflection. Good work! :)

Many thanks, Hank and Wallace. As for the apparent lack of photographer--I was mostly behind a pillar, and used a long zoom. (I'd tried some other shots and couldn't get myself out of the picture.)

of course I had been looking for the photographer, too, and was about to comment...

...nag, we now want to see those other shots, Marilyn! tap-tap-tap... ;-)

p.s. I asked a (garden architect) friend about the reason (that simply had to exist, I figured) for all those (many) strange (to me) shiny balls on long sticks in gardens everywhere...

...she said: look at one, then quickly move towards it! (Duh! I really should have thought of that myself, the answer became obvious! :-)
