Pomegranate orchards on rocky terrains (ارسباران)

With this picture I wanted to highlight the determination of tireless peasants has transformed the barren rocky terrain to thriving pomegranate orchards. In recent years the inhabitants make their living by raising honey bees. Due to the scarcity of flowers they feed the bees white sugar and the low quality honey is being sold to low income city dwellers at merely double the price of sugar.
