Hello Berend. Nice place for your waterbirds i think. You seem to have so much water everywhere. Not much around here only in the Southern Ocean 30 miles away. Very tide at the moment, got up at 4:15am again this morning, 10klm bikeride, then breakfast and then off to photograph sunrise. Found a new place. Its perfect and away from the wind too. Can see right through to the Stirling Ranges. Always looking for new places to set up my camera. Saw some lovely Red Tailed Black Cockatoo's this morning. I got up real close to them as well, right under the tree they were sitting in eating Gum Nuts off the Red Gum or Marri tree. KInd REgards, Dvaid

Dank je Bram. Er mag hier echt gesurfd worden hoor. 's Zomers is het op deze plassen behoorlijk druk en ook langs de kanten op de strandjes en/of speelweides is het er dan behoorlijk druk, bij mooi weer tenminste. Groeten Berend

Hi David, I'm also looking for some new places to make pictures and to look for birds. These ponds were farmland once but now it's a recreation area. In summer there are a lot of windsurfers at the water and when it's warm a lot of people at the borders or swimming in te ponds. I'm not tired yet, but I'm going out in a moment to run 8km, so I know what you feel ;-)) Did you managed to get a picture of those beautiful Red-tailed Black Cockatoos? Greetings Berend
