It has been estimated that Iceland lost around
0.2% of its population in the WW2.
Most of them were lost at sea, shot down by planes and submarines while importing goods to Iceland and bringing food to the allied nations.
For the WW2 - I have seen numbers like:
Iceland lost 0.2% of its population
Norway 0,34%
USA 0,2%
Canada 0,4%
UK 0,7%
France 1,5%
