Hong Kong Panorama 1959

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

This Panorama was taken from where I first lived in Northpoint which was Ming Yuen Terrace, going up from the Metropole Cinema, but of course long since redeveloped

Hi Gordon, North Point Estate is the housing estate at the far right side of this photo. Now all the buildings of the estate has been demolished.

Hi my friend,

It won't be the first time it's been demolished, I think it is the second time as I went back there in 1985, and it was unrecognisable then, from the way it was when we lived there. So its knock it down and build it higher I guess you had better post some photos in comparison.

Kind regards. Gordon
