Dear Eva,

Wow, it is wonderful to have a friend in Ukraine!! Thankyou for vsiting my folio. In Ukraine you would never get to see such marine life, so I gues this is pecial for you. You cane seefrom the other pictures in the set whet the coast looks like there - headlands and cliffs with rock platforms and long sandy beaches. It is a very attractive coast. Octopus's Garden was the name of a song that the Beatles from England sang in the 1960s. I am old enough to remeber it well. You might have to do a google search to locate the music and download it. But I will post the lyrics for you. Lots of love from Sydney, Ian

OCTOPUS'S GARDEN The Beatles

I'd like to be under the sea In an octopus' garden in the shade He'd let us in, knows where we've been In his octopus' garden in the shade

I'd ask my friends to come and see An octopus' garden with me I'd like to be under the sea In an octopus' garden in the shade.

We would be warm below the storm In our little hideaway beneath the waves Resting our head on the sea bed In an octopus' garden near a cave

We would sing and dance around because we know we can't be found I'd like to be under the sea In an octopus' garden in the shade

We would shout and swim about The coral that lies beneath the waves (Lies beneath the ocean waves) Oh what joy for every girl and boy Knowing they're happy and they're safe (Happy and they're safe)

We would be so happy you and me No one there to tell us what to do I'd like to be under the sea In an octopus' garden with you.

For you Eva, and for all my older friends who can remeber the 60's.

Thanks a lot, Yan! Am I right that this song was written by Ringo Starr? I grew on their music. When I was in Liverpool I could not believe that I see Cavern actually! It was unforgettable. Best regards. Eva

Dear Eva, You have been to Liverpool - I have always avoided it when travelling in Lancashire. I am not sure now who wrote it but your suggestion is possibly correct. I thought you were probaly born in 1977 (Eva77) so how did you grow on their music? Yes it was popular for a long time. When did you go to Liverpool? Ian

EVA_L on December 12, 2007

Oh, Yan, 77 - it's not date of my birth (and not my age :)). My parents were fond of Beatles, so I listen their music from my childhood. And in Liverpool I was in 2004, during my trip in England, Scotland and Wales. It was a fantastic jorney!

Greetings from your countryman and my little friend: http://static1.bareka.com/photos/thumbnail/6454824.jpg Eva

Cute eh! Where did you get him, Eva? Have you been to Australia or perhaps a friend sent him to you...or maybe he came straight from the manufacturer in China. Rather I prefer to think that you found him orphaned beside the highway somewhere between Adelaide and Darwin, and you put him in a pouch and took him home to care for him. Have you checked the special picture of a wallaby on in my folio? Try tag Love from Australia. Ian

Hello Paul,

I have just seen the set of images from my gallery that you have chosen to comment on and I am very pleased that you also like the 'simpler' photos. It suggests that you get a lot of joy from your photography too.

Warm regards,

Ian

Hello Ian,

You are right. I am now getting more pleasure out of photography than at any time in the past. I have been waiting for the days to elongate a little and some good weather to come along to get out and about again and in the meantime I have been playing around a little with what is at hand. I have found a lot of inspiration from fellow Panoramio members.

Best wishes Paul

Fantastic! ysl

Ian Stehbens on December 10, 2012

Hi Andy. Welcome to my gallery. Glad you found some images that you like. Thanks for the compliments. This particular pic was as much a bit of art on my part as it was a recording of the variety of colours and species in the rock pools.

Greetings from Australia.

Ian
