I'm assuming this is a macro, Ian. It is verging on abstract with the focal point having some gorgeous colours and almost jewels making up the centre of its body. The many strings of 'beads' are intriguing and I would guess are some kind of eggs? I'm enjoying browsing your art tag. Cheers! Theolfa
It is a joy to have someone comment on this natural art. It is not a macro actually, for the starfish would be about the size of the palm of your hand and the background bead algae is ready to hung around a mermaid's neck.
That it is unfamiliar to you makes a statement on the value of Panoramio. It reminds me of the icy art that forms on winter windows in Saskatchewan and Ukraine that delights me and that I have never seen, yet is very familiar to you. So it is good to reciprocate with an image of a rock pool beside a warm ocean.
