"This is the Lincoln house in which President Lincoln stayed during the war to plan attacks on nearby Norfolk and other confederate bases along the coast. This house has since been used as the Post Commander's quarters until the newer larger quarters were built near by the Old Point Comfort Lighthouse. Since then it has been used for senior officer housing until damaged by Hurricane Isabel. After renovations, it now is used for offices and storage of the nearby Casemate Musuem. Nice photo though."
