Matić poljana - Stone sculptures

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Matić poljana (1030 m) is a grassy plateau, about 300 m wide and about 3 km long.

In the central part there is a monument to fallen soldiers from the 2nd World War... 26 stone sculptures symbolizing the partisans who froze during a march 24th February 1944th year.

The monument was built in 1969. ( Zdenko Sila )
