Taken on a chilly February morning after I had spent the previous night at the NJC (IYHF) Youth Hostel "Stadsdoelen" which is housed in the canalside building just to the right of the church tower on the sky-line. The hostel has a pleasant bar/restaurant that overlooks the delightful Groenburgwal canal on the far side of the building.
