This is probably my favourite picture from our trip to the Faroe Islands. It has all the right ingredients - sea, green hillsides, angular cliffs and mountains, and turf-roof farmhouse. The peculiar shape of Koltur island is oboiusly a key focal point of this picture, but notice also the detail of the yellow and purple meadow flowers in the forground.
