Wow! Great capture - the B&W treatment evokes Ansel! Nice job. L1 & YS! Warm regards, Rob

I wasn't happy with the color version so on a whim I decided to go with a high contrast b&w and I was a little surprised at how well it turned out!

I appreciate your comments and for visiting my gallery!

Thank you so much for your comment and the Like sharmidy.

I just uploaded two more b&w shots of the Sierra Nevada mountains similar to this one.

I uploaded another shot taken the same morning:

A little higher contrast and more dramatic lighting in the new one!

A very impressive Black&White series- this one I like best because of the diagonal.

Greetings, Gudrun

I agree with you Gudrun - the diagonal light really makes this image special. Thanks again for your comments!

Great serie in B&W.

Thanks Achiper, I'm glad you liked them. I really need to get a print made of this one so I can hang it on the wall!

Wow, I really like how you use b/w. Also great capture of the moon and light. Good job. LIKE

Thanks Dave. I wasn't happy with this shot until I converted it to b&w. In color it didn't have anything to make it pop but in b&w it's special. It was an incredibly beautiful morning driving up to Mammoth Lakes and I had to keep stopping to take pics. Definitely a memorable drive!
