Hi Theolfa & helianta Yes I agree this is a beautiful building, so much so I have uploaded the photo before! This one is reworked to lighten the shadow and I have straightened the right side of the picture.

Watch out for my next upload of this building - a sepia version.

This is VERY nice Kenny I am intrigued by the way you have toned this. A very nice effect and lovely composition.

I look forward to some more of your architectural pictures.

Have a great weekend. - Jethro

©yemtaş Welcome back to my gallery and thanks for the comment.

Jethro Welcome back to this photo, you commented on the original! Toning was via Photoshop, adjustments, HDR toning to give it a slight lift then later using photoshop elements reduced shadows slightly. Glad you liked it. Next month sees visits to Wood Hall and New Hall Hotel, one photogenic and one photo challenging.

it might be mock.. but it does look beautiful! :)

Hi Kenny, I got an email off one of my friends, GordJessPhotos. She had a play with your castle, too. And made a good job. She thought it too presumptuous to just post it because she doesn't know you. Would you mind her posting up your castle/her take?

Kenny Wharton on March 21, 2011

Ha, I dont know you either, really. Please ask her to upload the photo and join in the fun.

Hey Kenny :)

As Sigh said.. I don't really know you, but I thought your photo was awesome! I tweaked it a bit for you if you wanna have a gander :)

Smiles, GG:)

Hi GG This has really taken off. I am now hearing suggestions of adding bats, moons and even lightning to go with the stormy night sky!

Anyone else stumbling upon this is welcome to join in. All I ask is they include a link back to this original photo.

Have fun

Hi Ian

Of course you can keep it on your gallery. I was thinking of opening another panogallery just for copies of this shot

Sigh on March 25, 2011

That would be a good idea.
