Thanks for visiting Smuggler's Cove, Swissmay and alan knox. It is beautiful all year round. And it really was used for smuggling during the time when the Americans had Prohibition and Canada did not!

I can only imagine the natural beauty and fresh-smelling air over there. You made a good shot considering it was from a helicopter

Nawitka, on March 3, 2008, said:

Thank you very much Daniel Mitin. It is indeed a wonderful place. The photo, however, was from a small commercial flight (and through the glass/plastic window too), not a helicopter. I was flying from Comox to Vancouver, that's north to south. If you ever get the chance to make this trip, I suggest you sit on the left hand side of the aircraft -- that's the side where you'll see the most spectacular views of the Coast mountains. I was on the wrong side :{

I have some pictures from a flight too on my profile but all I got was some mountains :/

I was in Bermuda some 22 years ago. After our holiday we a took a short trip to the Sunshine Coast, eventually to Smuggler’s Cove. I fell in love with the coast and boating. We have the best area here for boating and this cove is still one of my favourites, so is your picture.

Best wishes from Port Moody, B.C. Canada, Gabe

You must be very tall to have gotten this vantage point, Nawitka.

Hi Gabe, you're right, this is the best place for cruising. I was in the Crow's Nest, who!
