This evening panoramic of the Portland skyline, was shot in sections using a telephoto lens to pull Mt. Hood closer to the city. The sections were then stitched together. The ability to use a telephoto lens to make a panoramic image, allows me to take photographs that were simply not possible before. The photo was taken from the Vista Bridge.

Thanks Thomas, You should visit Portland. It's a lovely city. I was in Munich and Frankfurt in April and enjoyed my stay very much.

Hi Ron! Actually, I used to study in Portland and just visited Oregon again two weeks ago.

Hi again... I am mesmerized by your photo, I have taken some photos from that bridge, it is a beautiful place, I could spend hours in that area just wondering around... another masterpiece! Best wishes Ilona

Thanks Ilona, I agree. The area has some spectacular views and I enjoy going back at different seasons because it changes constantly. Ron
