Salem Riverfront carousel

Salem's Riverfront Carousel is located in Riverfront Park on the banks of the Willamette River. All the carousel animals were hand carved and painted by volunteers.

Rotary Pavillion in the forground, was also constructed with volunteer labor and materials.

Great shots from Salem! I used to live there, for 14 years. Still kicking myself for moving away 8 years ago. So much has changed and so many things weren't there that I see now in your photos. I wish I could move back! I'm thinking about a return visit since I still have family back there. I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to leave though! Keep em coming...
