Sarah -- We stood outside in the warm velvety late summer evening and admired the Supermoon too.

It was right above our heads in a dark clear sky, truly a sight to see.

Congrats on a beautiful photo - a big LIKE from me!

I always imagine that the moon's shadowed bits take the form of a Rabbit, with its ears slanting off to your right hand - what do you see?

With warmest wishes [and a rather sad feeling that we & our peers probably won't see that next Supermoon - it's such a very long way away.....]

))o;

But then, you never know...

Love & hugs

Hazel

Hello Sarah The words of the song come to mind by the light of the silvery moon what a billiant shot you have here.Well done it goes without saying its a Y* & like.I never saw it over here must have been a bit of cloud about although the the weather has been dry all last week.I may be out with friends next week after steamif not then it will be the weekend after.Just to let you know it will be Sue`s birthday in April 27th so we may be dinning out.I hope you are all well over there and sending my best wishes to you Alan :o)

Sarah O on March 26, 2011

Hello Dear Alan How so good to see you. YES, how correct you are: "By the Light of the Silvery Moon", great memory there Alan. A great song! It was very beautiful to see Alan, I was surprised acutally at this shot. I tried several times to get it clear, and not fuzzy, finally this one, so I wanted to post it, since the news pointed out the significance of this one. SuperMoon to be seen again in 18 years! Wish you could have seen it, sorry about your clouds that night.

April 27th! A big Holiday for you Alan:)) better go shopping..the dinning out sounds perfect, treat her "first class" now Alan, make her proud!:) Thank you Alan we are OK I guess, having very dry weather, with fires daily out of control all over the county, with our fire trucks having to be called out to save someone's home!! very scary and very dangerous. We hope next week will bring some rain, We really really need some for many reasons.

Thanks for the G and the like here Alan, you are very kind, I apprecaite that you like my "silvery Moon" :))

My best to you and Sue Sarah

My pathetic attempts at photographing a close up are not as good as this!

I leave you with this haunting melody

Andy at his very best!

Kind regards Sarah :)

I asked...it was cloudy here too so we did not get to see it. That many more thanks for capturing it for us:)

Sarah O on March 29, 2011

Hi dear Joy yes it was fun to catch this Supermoon on a nice clear night, I thought that I might not get a shot that was worth posting, and this might NOT be, according to some fantastic supermoon shots I've seen here and there, But I'am glad you enjoyed seeing it and happy too that you liked it. thanks for the visit and comment Joy. I do know how busy life can be for us Joy, just take it all in and enjoy every moment you can, tho stressful at times:)

thanks again

Sarah
