Beautiful rain shafts. Love Montana, but love Montana weather even more.
Great photo. I'm so ready for winter to be over and to finally get rain again!
It's been the driest, warmest spring I can remember. The snow was basically out below ~2150m. However, this morning, it returned to winter. Lots of wet, heavy snow here in the valley, more in the high country. I'm glad to see it.
love this photo eve. the openness of the road makes me want to drive along it through the storm viewing the vast expanse ahead of me! are your weather patterns changing like theyare in the uk.where i live in liverpool we have just had a glorious indian summer in april!i am fascinated by climate change and weather patterns.is montana the midwest?
Hi again, steandeb. Montana is considered to be part of the northwest (check the location on the map). Unlike the midwest, Western Montana is very mountainous, and the weather is very unpredictable. The saying is, wait 15 minutes, if you don't like the weather, it'll change. Yes, the climate seems to be changing. This year was the earlier snow-melt in the mountains I have seen.
Es una foto realmente original, porque había que estar en el momento justo para hacer la toma
redi, gracias por los comentarios a mis fotos. En el verano, tenemos a menudo lluvia iguales que esto.
Thanks Eve for your unforgettable pictures. Maybe this year succeed in the U.S. to come because I have a brother who lives of Nex Mexico. Just for your photos (and my love for the mountains) I would come up in Montana!
Wow!! What an amazing capture!
This is truly spectacular! The road is still dry where you are whilst you could see thunder on the horizon. Was it coming towards you or other direction? :)
