Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

The moon shone brightly this night giving the scene a gorgeous blue hue..The warm glow in the foreground was the light emitted from some nearby street lights just behind my viewpoint. Since this is a long 30 second exposure, all manner of wonderful light is picked up by the image sensor. The sea was at low water which exposes a vast area of rocky scar covered in thick, green sea-weed. The scar is treacherous for walking on and since I was alone, I did not fancy breaking my limbs in an attempt to reach the distant sea-shore.

Jim i was after a shot similar for my NPC but Clara would not let me go traipsing through the bush to the lake to get the mist rising on the water. i note the sand back lit from the town nice shot. great to see you out there exercising the mind... steve
