That's curious, the road is closed because the fall, isn't it?
nik, sometimes cars can drive under the falls, though I understand that they close it off in winter, and I guess they hadn't opened it up again.
Thanks for stopping by, nik. I haven't deserted Panoramio, but I'm using most of my waking hours right now trying to write a book. I took these three shots when we went took a couple extra days on a research trip to Atlanta. I expect my life to return to normal someday!
Hi Marilyn, are you fine? When will the book be finished? Did you all the road to Atlanta by car? Cheers, Daniela
Hi, Dany, and thanks for your visit. I'm not really fine, but life must go on, so I'm trying to ignore my problems! I hope to have a first draft of the book by June, but then there will be lots of editing to do. (For me, it's easier to edit than to write, so I look forward to that time.)
I can't make myself take time off from writing while we're at home, so at the end of this week we're taking a break by taking a 12-day trip to the U.S. Southwest - an educational tour focusing on the Indians of the Southwest, and a bit of travel on our own (indirectly related to the book of course)! So I do hope to have some new photos when we get back.
This time we flew to Atlanta. We went two days early, but the weather was cloudy and often rainy - not much chance for pictures. But I DID get to visit a 94-year-old woman whose mother was a sister of the woman about whom I'm writing, and that was exciting!
I hope you will be fine soon, Marilyn. And I know it will be exciting to prepare for the trip, you lucky! Cheers , Daniela
