Hi Jethro

I wonder how may people have taken this picture? A true classic.

Weather looks quite good for Milton Keynes!

I was just going to look at the weather next!

You beat me to it.

Hi Diggory

You raise an interesting point here!

The UK has a fantastic mapping system by what we call the Ordinance Survey. There are numerous Public Footpaths all over the country which are rigorously defended by many people when the private land owners try to close them.

There are also numerous "bridleways" which get their name from the time when horses were used as a form of transport. Nowadays horses can be used on the bridleways but not on the Public Footpaths. Unfortunately this rule also applies to cycles!

But there are many many miles of dedicated cycle tracks, and in the Lake District the best places could only be reached on foot, and if you have a head for heights, a bit of climbing!

All the best Peter

It is miserable I think if someone prohibit to walk the trail naming himself the owner! In Russia it rolled not yet to this point but tendency appearing!May be I am wrong Peter but I was educated in time when all the land was common!God created the mother earth for everyone but not for one owner!:(
