Dire place - This was not a pleasant place to work. There were many stories of people with nose problems like putting your finger up one nostril and being able to come out the other nostril.

Not a great photo but I thought I had better take one as they are starting to dismantle the works.

Its a dire place alright Kenny, a lot of people will be glad to see the back of it,and a lot will probably wish they had never seen it at all. I remember delivering there once in the 70's when i was truck driving,it was an absolute hellhole,i only went the once thank goodness.Still, photos are nice to look back on,even though its something thats maybe best forgotten

Tis i again Kenny. that suggestion of yours about dropping my moon in my edit of your Gothic shot,i left a message saying i was unable to do it. Anyway, Samsalt took up the baton and e-mailed me the result and iv'e just uploaded it,he's done a good job too.The moon's still there if you want to have a go yourself though.

Cheers Kenny.

Hi Neil I will copy your moon shot, thanks. I am not in Sams league when it comes to photo retouching so I will eagerly look out for his version. Perhaps he might even comment on mine!!!

Really lovely colours and view of this grim place Kenny!

We have places like this where I am from... usually chlorine plants or paper plants..

I like your photo. You make it look very pretty.

Happy weekend! :)GG

A few of us had a bit of fun a while ago posting photos of grim places. As you rightly say, we all have them!

Strange you think it is pretty, I wonder if it is the lush green wheat in the foreground?

Well, green is the happiest colour of all! Also the pink sky is very nice, what girl doesn't like pink? But the contrast between the two really pops! :)

I should be able to get a few more grim places next week Kenny I will try to help keep the spirit alive!

Best wishes ol' mate - Jethro
