Hiya Marion - It is such a simple thing to 'switch off' the colour (and add an IR filter).... but, oh boy, what a difference it can make...
Glad you liked it...
Great capture, Steve!

Hiya Liam - Welcome back :-) Thanks for the appreciative comments and like - These, and your visit are very welcome!
Hi again Steve - great subject, great effects that works well here in monochrome giving this old? church an almost fairy-tale look. We often look for new and better ways to show of these buildings and you have certainly come across one of the secrets. L.
Hiya Herb :-) I never thought of the Fairy tale slant here... but you are right... it does have that feel to it.
Old? Most certainly old. There is a blurb (and a link to more blurb) on the well, 'brother' shot that sits next to this one...
As always, your comment is as generous as it is welcome :-) thanks, Herb, for that and the like..

Hiya Loz - Suffolk seems to have a number of tiny Churches... Like the St. Augustine's, this one is in the middle of a field...
Glad you liked it :-) The B&W treatment seemed to suit this angle and colour for the other photo...
