Coal fired steam locomotive Nickel Plate Road 765 was built by the Lima Locomotive Works in September 1944 and is a Berkshire Type (2-8-4) wheel arrangement, once rather common on many Midwestern US railroads. Combined weight of engine and tender 802,500 lbs (364,008 kg). Driver diameter 69 inches or 1752.6 MM. Fuji 35MM slide.

Micheal, yes the 765 is very well cared for and makes an annual appearance in Michigan from its home in Fort Wayne, Indiana for a Fall color romp through the North woods. A great way to spend a Fall day is to chase it up the old Ann Arbor railroad to Cadillac and back.
