These are three of the five big old oaks that grow on the edge of the city Maribor in northeast Slovenia. They are in great danger to be cut down because of some stupid idea, that the new bypass road will make four or five unnecessary turns on the perfectly levelled terain and then must be placed right at the base of that small hill, regardless of that a lot of people use this location for everyday recreation and that this is one of the last unspoiled places of this part of the city!
