I grew up with the Space Race, so seeing these exhibits was special for me.

Very nice, magic surf bus!

Can't say I grew up with the Space Race, but as an Aerospace Engineering student, this stuff excites me of course ;)

I can remember the sheer size of the Saturn V like it was yesterday, it doesn't seem to end.

Last year was rather nice when I got to see the Other Side : with other aerospace students we visited some of the Russian facilities, among which the factory in Samara where they produce the Soyuz rocket to this very day. Didn't upload any pics though (yet).

And if you like this, did you ever see the BBC series "Space Race"? Highly recommended!

Regards, jhk

Thanks jhk: Having recently visited an aerospace museum with a fisheye lens I'm beginning to wish I'd had one at Kennedy Space Center.

Ás vezes eu fico imaginando: Será que o homem conseguiu mesmo chegar até a Lua?

José Carlos de Carva…: O computador de orientação de pouso tinha apenas 74k de memória - incrível!
