from Wikipedia: "The Upsala Glacier is a large valley glacier that covers a compound, fed by several glaciers in the Parque Nacional Los Glaciares in Argentina. Its name comes from the University of Upsala in Sweden, made the first survey of the region in the twentieth century.
His ice fields cover an area of 870 km ². The glacier has a length of 60 km (being the second longest in South America, after Pius XI), a width of 10 km, and its walls reach the height of 60 to 80 meters.
It flows from the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, which also gives rise to the Perito Moreno Glacier is located in the same area, to Lake Argentino. Upsala glacier is retreating, which could be evidence of geological and climatic cycles or global warming unknown.".
