Hi Daniela, glad to see You have time visit my photos!

In this photo and in few next I was walking under rain showers, but some views will be winner only because landscapes was not crowded by tourists or because rain fog makes nice soft backgrounds.

In Brussel and other places I ever been in Belgium (Brugge, Oostende, Gent, Antwerp) in public transports are used two languages Flemish and French. English are understand everywhere, but not used for instructions. But since Flemish are similar to German, I have not serious problems. I began learn French at least to understand minimum I need. :)

I encountered few times funny situations (or small stress situations) when I wait for my selected approaching train and in last minute before train departure spoors was changed and all passengers who wait for particular train has running in hurry to paralell perons. If passangers are lot - not a problem - just follow them. :-D But two times (once this year and once in last year) I missed my desired trains (thanks to God! those was not trains to airport!) because dispatcher announced texts often begans in French and began with spoor number and only then gives next instructions. F.e. my approximate translation to English "..spoor 3 where expected arrival of train Nr. 6734 will not arrive there, but only at spoor 5. This will be train to Leuken." Then dispatcher repeats same in Flemish, but if direction makes some sense to passanger, then who really cares about train numbers? :))

Cheers, ainars.

p.s. Street names are mostly in French.

Hi Roland1, thanks for watching my portfolio!

Yes, Belgium trip was interesting! Beside my direct business orders I spent a lot my free time to get more while I was there! :)

Just I said, than weather can be desired be better, but how was saying in England - "there is not bad weather out there, there are only inconsistent use for clothes!" :)

Yes Ainars, that with bad weather, I know it from my native-region Nothern-Germany. Exact this argument I already had in a comment of this picture :-)
