Hello dear Steve I sooo agreed with you about zooming in on this one. The sun made the water sparkle and the whole fountain area was bright with splashing water and mist all around. Such a real treat to visit this park and this fountain. Yes Steve, that moss makes this place even more interesting and beautiful, it adds such a charm to these massive oak trees! Its a place I would love to stay all day wandering around, sitting in quiet moments on the many benches, or even, as others were doing, on a blanket somewhere in the shade of these beautiful old trees, with a picnic spread out to enjoy! Its such a pleasure to see you place this scene in your Fav's, as it truly is a "Favorite" of mine also. Thanks for strolling through the park with me Steve, in this series of Forsyth Park.

Warmest wishes,

Sarahx

Greetings Sarah ;) I agree with Steve, what a stunner!

Civic parks are an essential part of civilised living and a great place to take the children..I have fond memories of visits to our pretty town park when I was just knee high to a grass-hopper!

I love the essence of this peaceful looking photo that fondly reminds me of my childhood!

Warm wishes sent your way dear Sarah!!

Hey Joy...Yeah, I know! Me too! it was just that way there that day Joy, the fountain gave off a soft breeze and mist:) The like award is nice of you Joy! thanks, always nice to have you here:)

Hello Jim, my friend..It is a treat to see you here at my fountain! :)) Thank you so much for your thoughts on this shot. Yes, its true about the parks Jim. Aren't they great? I wish you could see this one, it is so lovely all the time but especially now in Sprintime. Yes the parks always seem to bring out memories don't they. In my pretty little town, there is a nice shaded park, with fountain (in gallery) and next weekend, Easter weekend, the whole town will be in this park for an annual springtime festival, and what fun we all will have Jim. Food booths, art and crafts, antique cars, rides for kids, entertainment (my youngest G/daughter will be one of them, dancing!, Easter egg hunt, and pretty weather We Hope!!:)) Thanks for dropping by Jim, I always look for you to pop in and see what you have to say about things:)) Its always uplifting!

My very best to you both!

I am lucky to say that I have indeed visited this city and walked through it's historic district! A beautiful city indeed, one of a kind unlike any other. I'd say Savannah is a rather underrated city, it doesn't receive the praise it deserves. Thank you for sharing this picture, it is a lovely shot!! I hope you've encouraged many to come and visit the wonders of Savannah! I great ol' LIKE for this one my friend! Well presented! Best wishes from just a little bit north, Kyle

Sarah O on April 17, 2011

Kyle hello there, my friend "a little bit to the north" :)) how's things up the road? We have been soooo windy today...but no rain that we thought we might get, but hey, just glad we didn't get the weather that Alabama, N.C. and on up, got during the night last night..such damage, and death too, Kyle!!

Yep! I love Savannah! doesn't it show? :) I so agree that it is one of a kind. Such beauty in this place! I agree again, it is sooo underrated Kyle! I'am so glad you apprecaite this place and maybe too, this humble shot I was able to capture recently when in Forsyth Park. The flowers were full of blooms, so so pretty! OH Yes, I tell everyone that will listen about Savannah!:) Thank you so much for the "great ole like" Kyle, that has made my day. thanks for coming by for a visit!!

Best wishes up the road to my neighbor!
