Nice shot, there are just so many elements in this photo that make it stand out. You managed to capture an awesome sky. Liked.
I just re-did this photo. I learned over at SOAphoto about how to get rid of that angle that gives a photo a look of severe 3pt perspective. I now have a whole pile of photos that I have posted here that are waiting to be redone, improved and reposted. Thanks Ray for your continued support.
I was about to comment on the sky, but the other Ray beat me to it.
Thank you William Lee.

Thank you Panos.
awesome clouds! it looks more like a painting.
Isn't that sky wonderful. It looks like cotton candy. Thanks for the comment.
Great work, it looks like God's work... The church and those clouds made an amazing capture....
Thank you Adam.
It's an Episcopal church. Varina was Jeff Davis' wife.
That is correct. They indeed named that area of Henrico County after Mrs. Davis and then when the church came along it picked up the name too. The roots of this church though can be traced to some of the earliest Church of England congregations in Colonial Virginia. After the revolution the Church of England became the Episcopalian Church.
A beautiful shot with amazing clouds. Best regards, David
