Nice work Michael, how many releases you have used for this photo? Greetings from Italy.

Hello Margherita,

Well, I took only 1 shot. With my Canon XT I shoot mostly in RAW format. With RAW I can adjust the white balance in both the camera or in the computer. I took that 1 image and made 3 images from it. 1 overexposed, 1 underexposed and 1 exposed correctly. Then using an HDR software I combined/blended the 3 images together. I've been going through my old images seeing what I can do to them with HDR. It's been allot of fun! :)

thanks for the comments..

Margherita,

I've been looking through your collection, Very nice work!

It looks like you have a very good handle on HDR.

:)

Keep up the wonderful work!

Michael.

A GREAT picture! On the technical corner some HDR software can work directly with the RAW format and HDRize it.

Thanks for the compliments!

Yes I have reciently found that out about RAW.

RIght now I'm haveing allot of fun with HDR. Soon I wish to do more real life coloring to the images. Right now they tend toward the surreal size.

The location is surreal, so the HDR does not hurt at all!!!!!!

Yes I agree that this abandoned fire truck image looks great.

But look at this SUNSET SCENE and this PAINTED HILLS PANO are alittle over done. Eventhough I love the way they turned out..
