Thanks for your comment, Brian. The St Helens National Monument is really an amazing place. Living about 60 miles away, I've been able to visit a number of times - immediately after the eruption, it looked like a moonscape, desolate, the absence of life. Today, almost 30 years later, it is simply amazing how the natural environment has come back; a true testimony to how resilient Mother Nature is. She keeps giving us reasons to return to re-photograph places.
