Many of my pictures of Vordingborg is random, just happens to be that i came by something intresting, and i always have a camera in my back. Took this as it symbols a lot of vordingborg, because its "prins jørgens allé" witch is named after the king who ruled denmark from vordingborg for a preiod, and had "the goose tower" build, witch also can be seen in the photo.

Prins Jørgen was a brother to Christian V, and never ruled Denmark. But he lived on a mansion that he build on the castle gound in the city.

The Goosetower was erected by Valdemar Atterdag some 300 years before Prins Jørgen, in the years after 1364.
