What a wonderful place, Peter! The castle really stands out in pure white. I love that tall tower, with the small turret stuck on the side near the top. And that bright orange tree is perfect.
Wonderful photo, Peter !Very beautiful landscape, and beautiful colours.Greetings, Tamás
Thanks to Ryan, Bruce and Tamás for your kind comments. I´m very glad you like it. Special thanks also to King Ludwig II. for building that castle in the 19th century and to all who gave their tax for it... ;-))
Greetings to you all, Peter
PeSchn, you have nice photos.
Thank you, Janina, for your kind comments. Your photos are nice, too. Greetings, Peter
Hi, Gerry, thanks for you kind comment. It´s interesting for me you consider it as world´s most famous castle. For me it´s just an extended afternoon trip (100 miles on the Autobahn) to get there. But I enjoy to see it every time. Impressions of it vary a lot along the year with the change of seasons.
Wow! What a beautiful setting! We don't have castles in Oregon. I'd really like to go to Germany sometime and see all the castles!
Thanks for sharing it.
Buena foto. Me trae recuerdos de cuando estuve ahí en 1992
Thank you, mimipet for your kind comments on my pictures of the Neuschwanstein castle. For me this is a quite familiar, but always spectacular place at every season. Greetings, Peter
