- 'Kal Sar Dar' valley and hot water spring in Tabas, Yazd Province.
A marvelous valley in the name of 'Kal sar dar' is located at 20 km far from Tabas.
Within this valley there is Morteza Ali hot water springs, there is also a cold water springs which are combined in the middle of the way. Even more strange is that a kind of fish exists in the hot water! At the entrance to the valley, width is much higher, but at the higher parts of the valley, what ever we move forward in the river path, width of valley becomes less and less. Even in some places, the width of the valley floor reaches to 1.5 to 2 meters! In different parts of the valley there is relatively high altitude differences. The height difference of top of the valley to the valley floors is about 60 to 70 meters!
Due to high water flow in the river path, too many forms of erosion in the river’s walls has been constructed, which has created many interesting and amazing scenery that can attracts tourists and nature enthusiasts to this place. This valley is located on flat and smooth plain, so that if you walk on the plain, till you don't get completely close to the valley, you can not see it. And the valley very suddenly as a height difference show it self!
Where the width of the valley is low, a dam which is one of the oldest dam on that area, has been built there. I will add more information for the next picture which is from that wonderful dam!
