No, it's not my house, Gerry! ;-)
It's a carefully built little house, which belongs to a farmhouse. In this region, near every old farmhouse is a hut like this. It's a place where they used to store precious things like handwoven linen and other things owned by the farmer's wife. There are 2 storeys, upstairs they have big beautifully ornamented trunks, which often are 300 years and more old and which held the linen. Downstairs they keep food like grains etc. These huts are often very carefully maintained and usually full of flowers.
I wish storage sheds/grain bins here looked so interesting!
Beautiful old farmhouse! This is a real old bliss!
Very beautiful picture, May !Greetings, Tamás
Hi, my friends! Thanks for your comments! I think every place has its pretty corners!
Thank you, Tamás! It belongs to the farmhouse! Too small to live in. The farmhouses around here are quite big!
Many greetings, May
Those huts usually have some decorations we have been talking about in some other place, as you can see on the little balcony and along the roof. Very often they have some paintings and a symbolic device. Thank you, Bruce!
