Stationed here 64-65. Visit at least once every two years, last time, summer of 2010. Old road to NSGA now through road connecting to Vila Nova Receiver Site road.
Sad to see the site deserted, a lot of really good people served there, and I was one of the fortunate ones to have been barracked at the Vila Nova receiver site for a year.

Used to 'visit' this place on a regular basis from 1969 till 1994, when it closed..
Sorry to see that it has all been basically 'bulldozed', even the 'ARA' is gone...
