Greetings Berend. Seems superfluous to say that this scene and mood stopped me in my tracks! Just had to position myself for the best composition, and managed it by standing on top of a particular fence post. I guess it was the "Aussie" eucalypts that also caught my eye. Thanks for the compliments.

Cheers Jeff. We had plenty of fine weather during our sojourn in NZ, but the days that the rain or the snow came through, we made the most of the moods and the conditions too. Had a great time as you can tell. Thanks for the L.

Really is very encouraging to receive such an appreciative response, Palmina.

Warm regards from Brisbane, again.

This one again says much about your instinct as a great photographer. Nice tree silhouette against background of white clouds at rear. Very nice.

Perhaps instinct is correct, Ah-Pong, for I was driving along at the dulling of the day, headed for our overnight stop, not really expecting anymore photography for the day (I had been satisfied by the keas) when this began to form ahead. I just had to stop in the right spot to get the right trees set against the right cloud section. But I knew the moment I saw this line of trees I knew it would come together. I like it very much now, as much as I did in that instant.

Can you just see me climbing up onto the right fence post and doing my balancing act? I enjoy my times out with the camera.

Thanks for appreciating this with me.

Great idea to choose the white fog as a background for the filigree branches. Well spotted! Kind regards, Jörn

Greetings Jörn. I appreciate your assessment and encouragement. It was a beautiful landscape, and when these Australian trees came into view I was delighted. Then it was a case of just choosing my position as you have suggested and affirm. Thanks
