What an elegant, striking image, Roger! The water almost looks like metal!
Greetings from Canada, Marilyn
thats a fantastic photo of a sunset roger.
Thank you, both of you :) Seeing some of your own pictures makes me appreciate your comments even more!
I adjusted the exposure some to expose the clouds, and tweeked the color a little bit to let it show as truthfully as possible what I saw and experienced when I was there. It was a strange atmosphere with the calmness, cobolt blue clouds of different kinds and some "new" clouds moving in real fast from the west, while the sea was still calm. There was a storm coming in that hit some hours later, late in the evening. I tried to let the sunbeam reflection hit on the side of the rock too, but letting it hit the rock straight on creating an "aura" of reflection around it did more to it, I think.
Thanks, Roger, for your description of your work both taking the photo and afterwards. That's the kind of attention that makes your photos so good! I, too, enjoy doing it, but we so seldom discuss the process. In this one, the results are truly outstanding!!
Excellent photo, Roger!
It's very delicate and peaceful. Congrats!
Best regards from Chile.
Thank you yet again Erwin! I appreciate your comments!
