Open to visitors.. this most splendid house sits adjacent to the 'River Avon' among rolling parkland filled with deer...Many years ago..English landscape architect 'Lancelot "Capability" Brown' 1716 - 1783..was called upon to design the parkland...to keep things nice and even..he decided to alter the course of the river..!! but to the family..at the time, their vast wealth meant that this feat was no problem...Dj..
