Built around 1300, this is one of the few Churches I have seen to have fruit trees in the graveyard. At the time I visited, the tree you can see was in full bloom...
Very nice Steve and a big like
Gorgeous ancient church! Framed very prettily by those blooming trees! Great work feller! L+YS*
Hi there Marion and GG - I was struck by the presence of the apple tree when I found this Church... All that blossom, the blue sky made the decision an easy one to spend time here and take a few photo's...
Thanks, both, for the likes and thanks, GG, for the YS :-)
Excellent work and beautifull scenery!
You managed to correct the perspective and have perfect vertical lines!
Hi there François! Thank you for the YS and like :-)
This was my first attempt at a panoramic photo... I have recently bought a pano head for the tripod that also compensates (after some fiddling about) for the Nodal point of the lens.
There only three photos that make up this shot with about a 20% overlap. I then used PTGui to stitch them together...
Some correction to the end result was necessary but not much...
I am glad you liked it!
beautiful photo :-) like
Beautiful work Steve, I like! Kind regards, Odeveld
Steve Great spring scenery with the Church. Like!! Have a nice day, Best wishes from Finland to UK :-))) Markus
The trees are lovely, the colours mellow and the sky finishes it off. Really like this one. :-)
Hi there Markus! guess you are the "birthday boy"?? Congratulations!
I have not found too many churches with apple trees in their churchyards so when I visited this one, I had to stay and have a good look round.
Thanks for your visit and like and I hope you had a grand birthday!
Hello Rosa Grand to see you have stopped by! This is a lovely spot. To find apple trees here and in full bloom was a find indeed. With all this glorious Spring weather to add to it all, I knew I would enjoy my visit here all the more..
So glad you liked this :-)
